untitled

i have spent the past two days looking out my window.
and i don't even have a view.

past/present/future

my thoughts follow me wherever i go.
little things. just little things.

needy

needing clutter, more white, and that lace nighty. BAD.

sunburn city part II

my first sunburn of the year last year was april 7th.
this year april 18th.
laying around georgetown is so quiet and relaxing.
i read for over three hours.
the dogs got tons of fresh air.
in addition there was a game of lawn darts, motorcycle washing, rug washing, etc.
nice ending to my three day weekend.

muddled g&t's

last night my sister and i saw jesse sykes at the triple door. the triple door is without a doubt one of my favorite venues in seattle. i dont know if that means i'm getting old (that i prefer to see a show sitting down with drinks and dinner) but i'm okay with that.

jesse sykes was dope. she performed with her ex husband phil wandscher who was an awesome addition to sykes vocals. mike dumovich opened for sykes and was also enjoyable. both bands are worthy of taking a listen to.

thank you georgina for taking me with you. i hope you had a delightful birthday. i had a wonderful time. thanks for the gin and tonics and the puntang chicken :)

dear peter gabriel,

you really went wrong here.

peter gabriel decided to come back for another round, this time putting out a covers album in which he does the likes of bowie, radiohead, paul simon, arcade fire, bon iver, and other artist songs "his own way". the album is called scratch my back. the concept is actually really cool, but he really fumbled on this one.

your time has passed.

slim thug 2007

fuck...i am really loving this shit.
p.s. i have a music blog too.

new graffiti doc

be seeing you soon!

here i am - on the road again

pleasant saturdays such as today must be taken advantage of. jr and i did just that. we left the house by 9am, swooped over to all city coffee for a couple delicious americanos and hit the road. we covered a lot of territory today. bellevue, issaquah, burien, white center, west seattle, etc. thrift-thrift-thrift. estate-estate-estate sales!!!

we stopped at seahurst for a little stroll and some fresh air.
shortly after this i started to get a lil grouchy so jr took me to seattles best burger spot...
next time you go-get #11.
yum.
here's a couple things i purchased. didn't find much, but the few things i found are perfect, simple, and will be well used.
high waisted shorts coming right up.
great marc jacobs tank for summer.
old bedding. never used. plastic wrapped never opened. nice & fresh. in my favorite shades of yellow.

i am finally home and feeling very tired. time for a cup of tea and some reading. today was a good day.

millionaire nerd

the millionaire matchmaker finally had someone on her show that i would actually date.
meet dylan smith, the cutest nerdy guy (right).
too bad he went on the date with some douche girl that didn't appreciate how much of a geek he was.
adorable.
ha.

finders fee

i found some really great things today.
super cool wood room divider. prolly wont be used until my next apartment.
new laptop case.
treasure box. i also bought a side table that is being sanded and painted mustard yellow.
i've had my eye on these lovelies @ nordstrom for a month. they finally hit the rack. thank god!
welcome home.
