moleskine

my moleskin finally came in the mail.
organizing is way too enjoyable for me.
when i opened the package i actually wanted to stay home vs going to hang out.
that's not normal.
which is why i've reverted to my old method instead of using my iPhone.
sometimes the old way is the better way.

old fangs

one of my top five favorite bands, Black Mountain, has finally answered my prayers by coming out with their third album to be released september 14th. since i'm over looking forward to summer in seattle (it's never coming) at least i have a reason to look forward to fall.

the cover art is AWESOME.

listen to one of their new songs here

they added a couple more spots to their north american tour and did not include seattle. i'm devastated. they will be in boise on july 31, and i'm seriously considering driving there for it.

beautiful losers

you should watch this. tons of awesome artists.

vamps

yeah, that's right. i read the book. not too bad alright. my co-workers talked me into it. i give in too easy.
i decided to watch the movie the other day. GOOD GOD. that had to be one of the worst movies i've ever seen. it actually made me uncomfortable. now i'm reading new moon. everyone says the second movie is better.
am i fifteen years old again? but it's true. look at how pretty he is.

i blame true blood for being such a good vampire show. liking this show doesn't make me feel bad about myself.

HOW DID I EVER LET THIS HAPPEN TO ME?
WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME...SERIOUSLY?
THIS IS A NEW LOW FOR ME.

lake saint clair

jenna and i cruised out to olympia on saturday to visit meg and spend some time in the sun. meg + family showed us an amazing time. not much can beat 80 degree weather, beer, cider, snacks and hours upon hours in the sun and swimming in the lake.
you'll have to excuse the horrible quality of the photos but i was out in the sun for hours and hours and could hardly see a thing. sun burned eyeballs...and the entire front of my body. cool.

Dope.

stay...put your feet up

last night was some of the best sleep i've had in awhile. i can't remember the last time i woke up so happy for the day. i forgot what "relaxing" felt like. it's been so long. and i'm not exactly "chill" these days. i run on my own schedule and i am more then well aware that it affects whoever i'm around. i've become a little uptight...i suppose. but it's like i said before (or really what a friend said to me)....new cat millions 2010...baby steps. it isn't a lie when i say a most fitting description for me is a walking anxiety attack.

waking up with a little clarity is nice, but strange considering this all came a night of eating teriyaki, watching american psycho and eating some xanax.

i'm going back on the meds.

what saturday nights are for when you stay in

last nights movies. here are two good reasons why renting a new release isn't always the way to go.
