after getting home from the mall it was off to citizen to meet up with my lovely friend kira.
it had been quite some time.
coffee. crepes. conversation.
it was absolutely fabulous.
i am so happy that she will be around for a few months.

now i am home. showered. and have two movies to watch.

last night i went to hopvine to hear danielle sing at open mic night.
her voice is amazing.
hopvine only serves beer which i can't drink.

i tried gluten free beer for the first time.
it was disgusting.
so i had the georgetown 9lb porter instead.
i'd rather drink a good beer and feel ill.

last stop was moe bar/cha cha where adam and ryan entertained me as usual.
not a bad evening.

friday blur

last nights 90s dance party was off the richter scale.
i intended to have a casual friday night.
every time jenna and i go out it turns into madness.
we start every night by telling each other how early we have to get up the next day.
maybe that is our downfall.
new strategy.
anyway...i danced last night.
that is so strange.
i was fairly certain that i would never dance again.

after a pretty rough week i couldn't be more thrilled today. not only is it friday and i have the weekend off, but i got a promotion. i'll be the store manager at a (north end) location i worked at about two years ago and i am so excited to go back to it, and have a new permanent home. finally a place where i can really settle in.
